Day 226: Wandering Through the Whimsy

Day 226: Wandering Through the Whimsy

“Logic will get you from A to B. Imagination will take you everywhere.” —Albert Einstein

Today, I gave myself permission to wander — not toward a destination, but through a feeling. A memory. A little corner of my mind where the rules are soft and the colors run wild.

It felt like being inside one of my old dreams. Lanterns with eyes. Melting colors. Shadows with secrets and light that hums instead of shines. Maybe it’s nonsense. But maybe that’s the point. Sometimes our healing doesn’t follow logic. Sometimes it’s in the way we let ourselves drift — without pressure, without answers, just curiosity and breath.

I spent years locked in survival, trying to move from point A to B without ever asking what I might find if I just… wandered. And here I am. Somewhere between who I was and who I’m becoming. Somewhere soft.

Today, I didn’t fix anything. I didn’t conquer anything. But I imagined again. And maybe that’s the kind of progress that doesn’t always show — but always matters.
